Last week I went for some late night shopping at Uniqlo (my first time ever) and I bumped into this grungy black & red checkered shirt. It reminded me of my nineties childhood when my nephews used to play “Come as you are” from Nirvana on their guitars in the attic of my grandparents. They looked so cool that I decided at the age of 11 to exchange my rather girly clothing style for black skinny jeans, Dr Martens (my mom didn’t want to buy me combats) and sweaters. If I go through the pictures right now I wasn’t the most colorful kid but at least I was a trendy one 😉
